the girl behind the screen: get to know me! *ੈ✩‧₊˚ ₊˚⊹♡

     hello everyone! this is my first ever post and i'm honestly so excited about this blog thing. i'm really new to this, but i - like so many other girls my age - have a million thoughts running through my mind so, what better way to express myself than in a cutesy little blog - even if others don't tune in! so, introducing the angel herself...me!

    i'll start off with music first because its probably the biggest part of my identity; i'm literally listening to music right now as i write this! (orbit pop by aespa <333). OKAY. i listen to literally every genre on this earth, you name it, i'll listen to it. pop, r&b, indie, bedroom pop, drum and bass, shoegaze, afrobeats, uk garage, reggaeton, rock, and honestly way more mixes of genres that probably have really niche names that i don't know. i AMMM a kpop enthusiast - have been since i was eleven! although i'm not as interactive in fandoms as i was when i was younger, i'm still a casual listener and adore the genre as a whole (technically i know you can't really group kpop as a singular genre, but its easier for me lol).

    i lived in the dominican republic for a hottttt minute...i left nyc when at the end of third grade and moved back the summer before i started high school. living in D.R. really affected the way i view a LOT of things about this country, such as...

    education! ask any of my friends, they'll tell you i'm a major nerd. in my past life, i strongly believe i was a cat and used up all my nine lives because i was too curious for my own good. while i lost everything from that life, its safe to say the curiosity i had definitely followed me into this life; which is actually one of the few qualities i love about me.
i loveeee learning new, random things. i really wish i was rich so i could get a degree in everything. my favorite thing to learn about is history; i look for it in literally everything. i rather learn about the history of scientific developments than science itself - although, don't get me wrong, i adore science, especially chem. when i go to college, i plan on majoring in political science and international relations. i had to settle </3 but its fine because i'm really passionate about politics, especially the current state of this country...

anyways, enough of my rambling, i hope this gave you a good idea of who i really am.
